By popular demand, here’s the shortcut to a cinematic, natural look for MTB videos.
This pack includes 3 of my own LUTs that I use for the Suspension Traveler YT channel.
Simply put, think of LUTs like filters for your video footage. You apply a LUT to your clips to easily color grade your footage to look a certain way.
VERY easy to use! Check the install guides below and begin using them right away!
- These DJI Action LUTs are designed to work at 100%. Basically, PLUG & PLAY.
- The pack includes three LUTs for the most common outdoor conditions:
sunny (bright & high contrast), cloudy (dark & low contrast) and sunset (dark & high contrast). - All LUTs are designed by me and tested on a variety of footage. They’re used in my DJI Action 2 & 3 videos on the Suspension Traveler Youtube channel.
- These LUTs will work with most editing programs that allow you to load custom .cube files LUTs including Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and After Effects (click links for specific installation tutorials).
This is a post-processing effect that depends on the quality of the raw footage. Good camera settings are critical here, so I’m including a DJI Action camera settings guide and a list of the exact settings I use in this bundle.
TIP: Always use the D-Cinelike color profile if you want to use LUTs. Alternatively, lower the contrast and/or saturation before applying a LUT. The same is true for HDR mode, which is in D-Cinelike, but adds some contrast on top.
